Baptist Learning Center was established in 1974 as an outreach mission of First Baptist Church Prestonsburg, and continues to be a significant component of preschool education in Floyd County. Baptist Learning Center is a four star rated STARS facility; one of only a few four-star rated in eastern Kentucky. The Center’s Christian focused curriculum provides a strong faith-based learning foundation for children before entering kindergarten.
The mission of Baptist Learning Center is to provide an atmosphere of learning and care in a Christian environment that meets the developmental stages of each student’s emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
