Living Sacrifice #10

Romans 12:19-21

·      Have you ever asked God: “what are you doing?”

·      When you think of the wrath of God, what comes to mind? How can you see justice in the wrath of God?

·      Read Exodus 15:1-18, What stands out to you about this song? How is God described? How is justice described? How does this give you hope?

·      Read Romans 3:23-26. What is the relationship between unearned forgiveness, the cross and God’s justice?

·      Read 1 Timothy 6:11-16, how are you fighting the good fight? Who can you encourage to keep fighting the good fight?

·      Read 2 Corinthians 5:14-15, what proof is there in your life that you are motivated by a love for Christ?

“Do not rest until love and faith in Jesus are the master passions of your soul.” Charles Spurgeon

“In a world of selfishness, greed, inequity and injustice, believers need to be set apart by their consuming love for God, and their sacrificial love for others. That’s the kind of holy living that brings salt and light to this dark, decaying world.” John MacArthur
