1.   Describe a time when you were discouraged or disillusioned, how did you overcome it? What changed?

2.   How would you describe God? What comes to your mind when you think of God? What shapes those thoughts?

3.   How does this passage impact how you view God?

4.   Why did the angel need to purify Isaiah? How has God purified you?

5.   After seeing God’s holiness and receiving God’s mercy, and hearing God’s request, how did Isaiah respond? Why is this order of events important?
